JEWELRY AND METALS (This class is open to 12 year olds)

Students will gain general knowledge of jewelry making and metalsmithing techniques hands on from day one! Techniques covered will include soldering, piercing, etching and embellishing in copper, nickel and brass. 

 

 

PAINTING STYLES AND TECHNIQUES (UPDATED DATES)

Learn the fundamentals of painting, including color mixing, building layers and utilizing various brush strokes. This course explores plein air painting, still-life and personal projects. Students will work primarily in oils and also have the chance to try acrylics and watercolors.

Enameling is the process of fusing glass onto metal. Enamels are available in a rainbow of colors. Students are introduced to the principles of metal preparation, enamel application and finishing processes. All levels welcome!
