Summer Children's Classes Ages 5 and Under

 

 

ART JAMBOREE! | AGES 2-3

Start the summer having fun with your child in an artistic environment! Over the course of one week, parents and caretakers will join their children and explore a variety of mediums, including paint, playdough, music, movement and sensory activities. These activities are geared towards play, expression and developing fine motor skills, as well as encouraging and cultivating group socialization. Attend all five classes, or drop in for two.

 

 

CREATION STATION | AGES 4-5

June 11-15 or June 18-22

Let loose your creativity with the opportunity to try your hand at a variety of materials! Children experiment in sculpture, printmaking, painting and more. In Creation Station, the classroom is transformed into an experimental space for creating. Each day, stations are set up for students to play with a variety of materials, including one structured project. Attend all five classes, or drop in for two.

 

 

FAMILY ART STATIONS  |  AGES 2-4

Saturdays, June 23-Aug 25 (No class 7/7)

Parents and caretakers join their children in a variety of artistic experiences. From sensory and fine motor, to summer-themed crafts, families work together to transform 2D and 3D materials into artistic creations. Alongside craft projects are stations for movement, play and stories. Attend all nine weeks or drop-in for four.

 

 

CLAY PLAY  |  AGES 4+ 

Sundays (9 wks), June 24-Aug 26 (No class 7/8)

Class Fee: $280, Materials: $25

 

This class introduces children to the tactile world of ceramics. Families have fun getting messy with clay while learning basic handbuilding and decorating techniques. You choose which four classes to attend.

*Attendance is limited to one child and one adult per registration.
