December

Crafts Showcase

The Brookline Arts Center will present its 35th annual Crafts Showcase from December 3 through December 20, 2009. During this time, the public will be able to view and purchase fine art, crafts and gifts with a unique aesthetic that are made by individual artists and small independent businesses.

With nearly 100 artists and crafts people, the Crafts Showcase draws visitors from all over New England, who are looking for a relaxed, fun shopping experience and a chance to find unique presents. Each purchase helps to raise money to support the scholarships, art education programs and exhibitions of promising local artists at the Brookline Arts Center. Skilled personal shoppers are also available to help you find the perfect gift for each person on your list (plus a little something for yourself!) The 2009 Crafts Showcase will include jewelry, glassware, ceramics, Christmas ornaments and Hanukkah items, kitchenware, clothing and many more gift items.

The Brookline Arts Center Crafts Showcase is one of New England's most important free exhibitions of fine contemporary craft. All artworks are chosen by a jury of collectors and design professionals.
