Open Studios at the Brookline Arts Center, April 11th, 12th & 13th

Wendy Soneson will demonstrate the art and techniques of watercolor painting on Saturday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. during BAC's Open Studios Exhibition. She will also complete quick pencil portraits of visits from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Other BAC faculty artists will show, discuss and sell their work: here's a chance to learn more about the artistic scene in Brookline! The weekend kicks off with a party celebrating Vanessa Irzyk's gallery exhibition "Hard Pressed" on Friday, April 11th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

Tour Boston's Public Art

We will explore and learn more about the architecture by McKim, Mead and White and the artwork by John Singer Sargent, Puvis de Chavannes, Edwin Austin Abbey . . . and more!
