Maria Termini Presents "Color Adventures": Glass Tile Mosaics at Brookline Arts Center Gallery

This January, the Brookline Arts Center presents a lively exhibition of glass tile mosaics by Maria Termini entitled "Color Adventures". From January 12 to February 6, 2007, the Art Center Gallery's display windows will challenge winter's cold with the warmth, color and sparkle of this traditional art method. Newton-based artist Maria Termini is also a musician, who brings a lyrical, singing sensibility to her brightly colored, semi-abstract artworks.

Termini studied art at Catholic University, where she received an M.F.A. Her work has been collected by the Fogg Museum at Harvard University, the De Cordova Museum, and the Boston Public Library; she has created commissioned works for the city of Boston and Boston First Night.

Exhibition hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. The Brookline Arts Center is located at 86 Monmouth Street in Brookline, one block from the St. Mary's stop on the MBTA Green line. For more information, call 617-566-5715 or visit www.brooklineartscenter.com
