Lauren Riviello – Executive Director

Lauren joined the BAC in the fall of 2013 and has served the center in roles of increasing responsibility. Lauren’s passion for the visual and performing arts has driven her career focus, providing her with a strong background in arts administration and program development. In three nonprofit arts organizations, Lauren has worked to make art education and programs accessible for individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Her belief in and commitment to the mission of the BAC drives her everyday. Since joining the team, Lauren has been integral to the development and implementation of high quality and innovative programs. She has worked to extend the BAC’s reach in the community, expand financial aid and outreach programs, elevate the BAC’s gallery offerings, create opportunities for public art and further develop classes. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from The Institute for Nonprofit Practice at Tufts University. Lauren is the Chair of the Healing Arts Committee and serves on the Leadership Committee for Women and Girls Thriving in Brookline and participates on the Steering Committee for Brookline Open Studios. Sarah Fujiwara - Director of Development

Sarah came to the BAC in the Spring of 2014 with a strong background in child development and an eclectic set of experiences - teacher of preschoolers through college students, toy store owner, leader in a large state-wide nonprofit and adjunct faculty member at Wheelock College. Serving as the BAC's Executive Director for three years, she contributed her knowledge of nonprofit management, community engagement, program design and art education to the center, ensuring that the programs flourished. Sarah’s commitment to the BAC has been instrumental in our growth. She has worked to expand programs in the community and on building new connections to organizations that serve vulnerable populations. In her new role, Sarah will focus on fundraising and stakeholder engagement, advancing these initiatives going forward. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Wheelock College and a Masters in Child Study from Tufts University. Sarah is a quilter and a member of the Quilters Connection. She is also a Committee Member for the Men's Shelter at the First Church in Cambridge and participates on the Leadership and Early Childhood Committees for Women and Girls Thriving in Brookline. She spends a lot of time with her three grandsons – Ren and Kai (7 year old twins) and Otto (2).  Contact Sarah:


Under Lauren and Sarah’s leadership, the BAC’s presence in the community has expanded. They have worked collaboratively and in partnership with multiple town organizations, developing programs in response to the diverse needs of our community. They have both been committed to increasing access to the arts by expanding scholarships and by adding innovative programming within and beyond our walls.


Dalton Zogleman - Assistant Director

Dalton joined the BAC as Assistant Director in June 2017.  Coming from a lifelong background in the arts, he is driven by his passion to make art accessible and facilitating opportunities for artists to create.  He recently worked with Huntington Theatre Company at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts, focusing on providing administrative and operational support for rental clients while assisting with facility management and event planning.  He is also the founder and Artistic Director of DZ Productions, a theatre company in Wichita, KS with the mission of providing pre-professional experience to students in the arts through contemporary, socially relevant works.  Dalton is a proud Eagle Scout and a graduate of Rutgers University where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts, concentrating in arts administration. Léonie Little-Lex - Studio Coordinator/Faculty

Léonie joined the BAC as a teacher in 2011 and was hired as the BAC’s Studio Coordinator in March 2014.  Since becoming Studio Coordinator, Léonie has worked to improve the BAC’s studio spaces and equipment. She has also been instrumental in exhibition installations and curriculum development, for which she was recognized with the BAC as Best of Boston ® 2015 Best Kids' Art Classes. Léonie is also an illustrator, painter and printmaker. She has exhibited her work regionally and has had her work appear in local and independent art publications, most recently in upcoming Issue 2 of Milkfist Magazine. Margaret Robe - Administrative Assistant
