Artists Caitlin & Misha will be at the Annex Gallery from 6-7:30 PM to detail their process, their inspirations, & more! Meet the artists themselves then explore the BAC as the building will be open to the public!

"Should we teach a machine to worry for us? Ecology of Worries shows creatures viewed through Artivive (a free mobile augmented reality app) who speak worries produced with machine learning. We used a database of over a thousand worries that we have been collecting from people since 2016 as the basis for the AI to generate new worries."

About Caitlin & Misha:

Artist duo Caitlin & Misha find inspiration in naturally occurring systems such as rhizomatic networks of mycelium, the microbiome ecology, and emergent pink noise for the experiences they construct in their collaborative art practice. Among other things they create installations, games, data visualizations, and happenings. They explore ways of collecting and filtering data to tell stories and aim to create artworks that provide unique opportunities for shared experiences, thought experiments, and group-based rejuvenation, such as sweating, meditating, humming, jumping, and worrying together.
