Photography Teacher, Adults
Part-Time

If you are a teacher who is passionate about fostering creativity in adults and bringing the arts into our community, then we would love to hear from you!

We are currently seeking qualified photography instructors to begin with our Summer Session, starting in June 2024. Once hired, selected teachers can propose new classes for future sessions in the fall, spring and winter.

We need teachers who can fill our weekday or weekend evening classes both on-site at BAC and/or at off-site locations. Classes would be focused on digital photography for adults 18 years and older, and the curriculum would be designed by the teacher. The BAC does not offer darkroom facilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching and creating photography curriculum for adults.

  • Knowledge of digital photography and professional studio lighting

  • Knowledge of alternative photography methods is preferred, not required

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of general safety rules and basic first aid.

  • Professional and patient.

  • Ability to work effectively in teams and individually.
